MISSION Goal / Purpose: Under the supervision of the WASH Supervisor and indirectly under the WASH Program Manager , the WASH Officer will lead and supervise implementation of works, respecting deadlines and provide technical assistance and ensure minimum quality requirements are met. Application deadline: 17-Oct-2026 Desired start date: 01-Nov-2026 End contract date: 30-Nov-2026 (Subject to renewal / extension) Location: Hama – Syria Number of positions asked: One Infrastructure PROFILE FORSAKEN: Essential • University degree in Civil, Water, Environmental, or Hydraulic Engineering, or a closely related discipline. • At least three years of relevant experience, including two years directly involving water supply and sewerage networks. • Practical experience with pressurized water networks and gravity sewers, including design, construction supervision, and testing. • Ability to interpret surveys, prepare hydraulic calculations and drawings, and develop bills of quantities and specifications. • Knowledge of pipe materials, installation methods, quality control, and construction safety. • Fluency in Arabic Desirable • Experience in humanitarian infrastructure projects and coordination with public utilities. • Knowledge of Civil 3D, GIS, EPANET or equivalent software
